It’s my slideshow from the Olympus Pro Photographer Showdown in Whistler that went down last week.
It was an amazing show and it’s hard to describe how emotional and powerful it was to see my work displayed on huge screens with an incredible sound system and the crowd cheering loud.

Olympus Pro Photographer Showdown

I just got to Whistler where I will be spending the next few days.
I’m here for the Olympus Pro Photographer Showdown that will go off tomorrow night.
I’m really stoked to be in the final with 4 other great photographers. It’s Chris Burkard, Andy Wright, Bryan Ralph and Darcy Bacha.
We are all presenting a 9 minute slideshow of our work mixed with music. It’s going to be really cool to see the other guys slideshows and we’ll have to see who takes home to first spot.
What ever the end result is I’m super happy to have come this far.

A quick storm last night made it surprisingly good today in Engelberg. I had a good crew with me an got great images of Jon Larsson, Olof Larsson, Lars Windlin and Wille Lindberg that just came back from Chamonix after getting 3rd in the Freeride World Tour event.

If you are flying first class with British Airways make sure to get a copy of First Life Magazine.
I’m pretty sure I won’t be able to grab one my self any time soon but if I get the chance I’ll run in to the first class cabin and pick one up before they throw me back down to economy.

I’m pretty tired after a full day of riding. It was -15, sun and epic pow on Titlis.
I did a few shots of Piers Solomon and Linus Archibald but other then that just riding all day.

I just got the new issue of The Ski Journal with quite a few images of mine.
There is a nice story from my trip to Georgia last winter written by Johan Jonsson. It ended up being a pretty big story and I really like Johan’s writing.
I also got my own portfolio that I’m super happy about.
If you have the chance go and pick up a copy and enjoy.

Nicaragua

I have been in Nicaragua for a few days with a group of good friends. The main goal is to surf and relax before the winter season kicks in. My surf skills are more or less non existing but it’s really fun and hard for the body at the same time.
Here are a few shots so far. I leave the quadruple overhead action shots in epic light with whales breaching in the background to the surf magazines.
