After a few days of stormy weather it cleared and got cold, very cold. Going towards the darkest day of the year it’s not easy to find sun on Titlis but when and where the sun hit it’s usually very good light. Since the whole mountain is in the shade until 11am now I get a few hours to just ride before I bring out the camera. This week I have been shooting with local snowboarder Yves Hüsler, Check Republic ripper Robin Kaleta, dalmasen Johan Jonsson and I also snapped a frame or two on my girlfriend riding.
More snow is coming in tonight and it’s still very cold.
Here are a few shots from the last couple of days, I won’t show the good stuff though. That´s for magazines etc.

The best days on the mountain does not always have to be blue bird pow days. The preseason storm days are just as good if not better. Just riding with your friends without the heavy photo backpack and no stress what so ever.
Today was just a day like that.

With quite a bit of new snow on Saturday I had a mellow day riding with friends as the perfect warm up for my gallery opening at Ski Lodge in the evening.
It was nice to see everyone who turned up and made it a great party.
Unfortunately I did not take that many photos, I was too busy talking to people and enjoying the good sounds of Sandro.

I just finished off a catalog shoot for Swedish clothing brand Tenson.
It was quite challenging with the lack of snow but after 3 days of shooting everyone was happy.
The snow conditions in the Alps are not the best at the moment. I have been looking at going over to Canada on a two week trip but not sure yet, I will decide next week.

I stopped by Oakley’s European head quarter in Zurich today. I had a productive meeting and I also came home with a bunch of new stuff for the winter.
Thanks Urs and Christine
I’m stoked to try out the new gear for real soon.

I’ve been to Sweden for 10 days. I manage to have a few meetings for the upcoming winter, attend a film release and go lobster fishing.
My cousin and his friend have 14 lobster traps and they usually get a lot of lobster. When we went out it was a bit too cold but we got 3 lobsters and a ton of crabs. We kept a few crabs to fill out the poor catch and made a great seafood dinner.
Now I’m back in Switzerland again. I’m having a small vernisage next Saturday (7th) in Sarnen at Amrhein Optik. The gallery will run through November.
Then in two weeks I got a catalog shoot coming up so I really hope we get some more snow.
Here are a few iPhone shots from my lobster session.

I was a bit surprised when I saw one of my shots as a huge wall print in a sports shop in Sweden. It’s a shot Peak Performance bought of Seb Garhammer skiing in Haines and apparently they made a billboard of it.
Nice to see that my old Canon 1D Mark II with 8.2 MP holds together ok for something big like that
(My out of focus I Phone shot might not show that)

I have been slacking with the updates because of vacation but now I’m back in Switzerland again.
I went down to Italy for a few days with 2 friends before I went to Sweden for a month.
Time to start shooting some biking again.
Here are a few shots from the past month.
